Welcome to OWW Radio! Each week hosts David (@dlb19338) and Alex (@AlexGoff84) will provide perspective to the WWE, TNA, and everything else making news in the world of professional wrestling. A new episode will be posted each week. This week David is joined by Len Denton who recently wrote his autobiography entitled “Grappler: Memoires of a Masked Madman”. The Grappler shares stories of his time in the ring with Junk Yard Dog, Ric Flair, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, and many more. He had a fascinating career full of ups and downs, twists and turns, that can only happen in professional wrestling!
Editor’s note: I really enjoyed this book because Len Denton doesn’t hold anything back. He talks about the highs and lows of working in professional wrestling and how he managed to survive in this business since 1977. Len’s stories about Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, and others are fascinating, but it was his recollection of his time booking in Portland that was a real highlight for me. Len also explains in detail why he never worked for WWE, as well as his disappointing time working in WCW including the night he got squashed by Bill Goldberg. I highly recommend this book…it is really well-written!
